Financial Hardship

Temporary setbacks can be tough both financially and emotionally, but MoveBank is here to support you where we can.

At MoveBank we focus on lending responsibly, but we also understand that your circumstances can change due to factors such as unemployment, illness, relationship breakdown or emergency. The struggle of trying to meet your financial commitments can be a major burden during these times.

What is financial hardship?

Financial hardship is when you're facing severe financial challenges due to unexpected events, making it tough to cover essential expenses and meet financial commitments.

  • Causes: It can result from circumstances such as job loss, medical bills/injury, divorce, domestic violence, natural disasters, or a death in the family.
  • Signs: Difficulty paying bills, accumulating debt, insufficient income, living pay cheque to pay cheque and constant financial stress.
  • Seeking Help: It's okay to ask for assistance when facing hardship; it's not a personal failure.
  • Our Commitment: MoveBank is here to support you. We offer assistance programs for temporary relief and financial stability.

You must be able to demonstrate genuine financial hardship due to unexpected circumstances for your application to be considered.
