We are making some changes so that banking with us is simpler. 

Our members will benefit from a new digital banking platform with enhanced features and services. 

All the information you need to know can be found on this page, including what you can do right now in preparation for Moving Day.

Have an existing MoveBank Visa Card?

Your new card is on its way

As part of the upgrade to our new banking system, all current cardholders will receive a new MoveBank Visa debit or credit card in the mail. Here's what you need to know.

Receiving your new card

Your new card will arrive to your nominated mailing address before Moving Day, along with simple instructions to pre‑activate it so it’s ready to use when the new system goes live.

Pre-activating your card

Follow the steps below to log in and pre-activate your card.

Changing your PIN

From Moving Day, you can change your PIN at any time through the new MoveBank App or Online Banking.

Log in to the new digital experience

Option 1 (mobile)

Download the new App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching for “MoveBank”.

Option 2 (web)

Click here to log in to the new MoveBank Online on your browser.

On Moving Day

After the upgrade, you will get full access to all the new features and benefits.

What information you need

Your member number is all you need to start the log in process for the first time. 

Reset your password

You will need to reset your password before you can log in for the first time. Please follow the on-screen instructions to complete this step.

Note: this password is only for logging in to the new digital experience. Your existing MOVE Bank App and Online Banking password will not be impacted or reset.

Pre-activate your new Visa card

Once you have logged in to the new MoveBank App or Online Banking, you have the option to pre-activate your new MoveBank Visa card (if you have one), so that it is ready to use on Moving Day.

What can you do right now?

Mark down Moving Day on your calendar

Moving Day will be on Saturday 1 August, 2026. This is the day we'll complete our system upgrade and when all the new features become available. From this day onwards, you’ll be able to start using your new card and all new banking features.

Keep your contact details up to date

To make sure you receive all the information you need before Moving Day, please check your contact details are current. You can update them via:

  • Existing MOVE Bank app
  • Existing Internet Banking at movebank.com.au
  • In branch
  • Over the phone on 1300 362 216

A fresh new look

No more monthly account-keeping fees

There will no longer be a $5 monthly account-keeping fee on MoveBank transaction accounts – the fee will be $0 after the upgrade. 

Better digital banking

You’ll be able to use our new App and Online Banking. These are some of the improved features:

  • Instantly add your card to your digital wallet - use Apple Pay or Google Pay
  • Added security checks - there will be extra measures to protect your account 
  • Manage your payment limits - change it when you need to online

New look, better features

Added security with One-Time Passwords

When undertaking key account actions (e.g. logging in, making payments, changing payment limits etc.), a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your nominated mobile number via SMS to provide an additional layer of security to protect your accounts.
